I've been in the Oklahoma film industry since 2008. In the past 15 years, I've seen it expand exponentially. Being in the early stages of such a new industry to my state, I've had the privilege of working in many different departments. Most notably; Camera Dept: Camera Op, 1st AC, 2nd AC & DITAD Dept: PA & 1st ADG&E: Grip Electric Swing, Electrician, Best Boy ElectricProps: Props AssistSet Decoration: Set Decorator, Set Dresser, On-Set DresserArt: Production Designer, Art DirectorThat's a lot of hats, and it's given me a change to explore and determine exactly where my skills are best utilized. I absolutely love working as a Set Dresser or an Electrician on Big Budget shows and features, and prefer Production Designer on Low Budget films. I firmly believe we are lucky that we are not pigeonholed into one job-title-for-life here in Oklahoma like our brothers and sisters in other markets.
