Description:Originally opened in 1948 as a movie theater, the Roxy re-opened in August 2001 as a multi-purpose venue. Muskogee’s Roxy Theater is the only Roxy left in Oklahoma and one of the fewer than fifty surviving Roxy Theaters nationwide. It has become a destination for tourists, movie historians and photographers seeking an eclectic location. Plus, it also houses the Oklahoma Movie Hall of Fame where Oklahomans are honored yearly for their work in the film industry.
