Deer Clan Books is located 2 mi. east of the Historic Route 66 Bridge at Lake Overholzer. We are one block south of Route 66 and Southern Nazarene University, and across the street from the post office in downtown Bethany. Bethany is a bedroom community to Oklahoma City with approximately 20,000 population. Our storefront is traditional brick with two 7x9 ft plate glass windows and a glass door that swings outward. Our bookstore floorspace is approximately 2000 sf and we have an event room about 1000 sf which can serve 40. The ceilings are high with flourescent strip lighting and pegboard wall covering. The event room has a rough shingle canopy on one wall and a bar room high counter.
