The Municipal Fairgrounds is located west of the Neosho River. It was originally constructed by the Work Project Administration (WPA), and is owned and operated by the City of Miami. It is an ideal location to host rodeos, monster truck rallies, carnivals, fairs, exhibits, and special outdoor events.
