The Dobson Museum & Historic Room are located one block off of historic Route 66. It is operated by the Ottawa County Historical Society with rotating hours and tours available anytime by appointment. The artifacts in the museum highlight past Ottawa County life, mining, military, Native Americans, famous residents, and industry including a permanent B.F. Goodrich exhibit highlight the years the business was located in the heart of Miami, Oklahoma. The historic Dobson house was built in 1915-16 and is an extension of the museum and open for tours and rentals. The home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
