Duck ponds, park and limestone shelter houses built during the WPA in the 1930s. Includes two shelter houses, a large limestone restroom area, a creek and small waterfall, playground equipment, lots of wooded, shaded area and two ponds as you enter the gates complete with fountains.
The picnic shelters are equipped with wood burning fireplaces, electrical outlets, lights, stationary tables and benches. Water and a large charcoaler are located close to each shelter. These shelters must be rented. City-owned property, so permission from City of Ponca City is required for use if it requires a closure of the area.
