The Iron Horse Gallery and Gifts
United States / DURANT, Oklahoma
Location ID: #10146640
Housed in a metal quonset hut of yesteryear, it once sold tractors and vehicles (as can be still seen vaguely painted on its roof), and at another time a bar called "The Hanger," while its back building was once the Bryan County Jail, the Iron Horse Gallery and Gifts facility has seen a number of lifetimes. The Gallery contains a lot of character with original concrete floors and wooden ceilings, with modern touches like a black metal fence and artistic sun blinds. The Gallery houses a gift shop as well as the art studio of J Semple Umsted. The building, in conjunction with its unpictured back half, hold a lot of character and intrigue and would carry that character through to any film.
