Located at the main intersection in Broken Bow is Ole 227 an engine used by the Choctaw Lumber Company than later by Weyerhaeuser Company was used in the areas logging business. Engine 227 was retired in 1963 and placed in Broken Bow for tourist to enjoy. Much of the engine is original.
