City of Broken Bow

Rural small town, lots of pine trees, creeks, rivers and streams. We are the foothills of the Kiamichi Mountains and subrange of the Ouachita Mountains. Just outside of our town we have the beautiful Mtn. Fork River, Broken Bow Lake, Little River, and Glover River. Glover River is the last undammed river in our state. We have a small downtown area and outside of town there is rental cabins and air bnb's everywhere.

Community Features:
3,000 rental cabins and vacations homes. They offer many different sizes, designs, and amenities. They have things from swimming pools, slides, game rooms, theatres, outdoor tv and kitchens, etc... We have great views and lots of outdoor activities. We have a totem and a museum that the designer of Smokey Bear painted the dioramas. Some of our area buildings were built when Roosevelt was president through his CCC program.

Piece of the first Star Trek episode. Cabin Hunters HGTV Show, Love at First Sight, Finding Big Foot. Also Real Estate Shows film here often. We have regional new crews here often as well.

City Infrastructure:
Pruett's Grocery, Local 259 Market, Mountain Man Meat Market, Stoney's Meat Market. We have 4 hardware stores/lumberyards, 4 antique stores, 9 specialty boutiques, 2 flower shops, 2 bakeries, 3 donut shops 3 wineries, 2 breweries, and a distillery. 3 liquor stores. 3 parts houses, dealerships. Lots of churches. We have Dollar General, Dollar Tree, ORileys, Dollar Plus, and Walmart
