City Infrastructure:
The City of Woodward is a city encompassing 13.14 square miles. The County has a total area of 1,246 square miles of rough country, mostly privately owned. The City of Woodward primarily has traditionally paved roads with some concrete roads and older industrial brick buildings found within the Rail Road District. The city has a vibrant downtown (Mainstreet) district that includes clothiers, industrial goods, appliances, recreational services and eateries. Woodward also includes several grocers, to include privately owned, small grocers, a farmer's market and a super-Walmart as well as a corporately owned United Grocer with two locations. Woodward has at least four major lumber and construction supply venders as well as numerous oilfield supply vendors.
