On the daily Ty is Lead Editor at PURSUIT FILMS (formerly FireThief Productions) and occasionally takes on select side projects; such as, being a contributing writer for Frame.io Insiders Blog. InProgress_working_251007With an education in journalism Ty has worked in professional studio environments and productions for over 15 years. He has picked up 9 total Heartland Emmys for his work on Osiyo TV | Voices of the Cherokee People, among others. His work has been featured in major publications; such as, Alternative Press. His cuts have been seen in major film festivals, on national networks, as well as, installations at the First Americans Museum in OKC. He also has a long list of published articles and interviews with artists Tom Morello, Phantogram and comedian Fred Armisen, among many others. Ty has cut numerous short and long-form documentaries, a lengthy slate of short narratives and 3 feature length films. Most recently Ty cut (and color-graded) "The Huntsman" (starring Garret Dillahunt, Shawn Ashmore) and "Reverence" (written and directed by Kyle Kauwika Harris). In summer of 2026 Ty and Pursuit Films will begin post on "Butchers War".
