Hi, my name is Madison Simon!I’m currently a programming intern at deadCenter Film, where my responsibilities include evaluating film submissions, researching and contacting filmmakers, and strategically organizing films themes for our festival. This role has provided me a unique backstage pass to the world of cinema, locally and from across the world, allowing me to collaborate with filmmakers from diverse backgrounds. I am a Lebanese-Mexican filmmaker with aspirations to direct. My passion for film began with cozy Redbox nights with my mom growing up, and blossomed during my college days where my twin passions for storytelling and film met and fell in love.I am pursing a degree in Professional Media, with a minor in Film Production, expected to graduate in Fall 2025. I am proficiently skilled in Adobe Suite and DaVinci Resolve. I thrive under pressure, excel in team settings, and am known for my outstanding organizational and preparation skills. When I step away from the film reels, I indulge in my love for exploring new music and movies, and cherish the time spent with family and friends. I am passionate about crafting compelling narratives as a filmmaker. If you’re looking for a dedicated, creative professional to join your team, I would be thrilled to connect and discuss how I can contribute!
