I have an Associates of Applied Sciences degree in the Digital Cinematic Production major from Oklahoma City Community College. I started working at Nathan Gardocki Productions film equipment rental warehouse in October of 2021. I work in the warehouse preparing and maintaining all kinds of film equipment from grip gear to lighting to camera equipment. My primary interest in film crew work is the Electric Department. I know how to distribute power properly and am experienced in laying cable, setting up many kinds of film lighting, and can do manual labor for long amounts of time.
I am familiar with a lot of equipment because of the nature of my job. I am also used to working in the elements because I work in a warehouse without air conditioning five days each week. I have only worked on one set as crew so far, and that was on Reservation Dogs as an additional electrician. I’ve been on set several times as talent so I understand how a set is ran and have experience being in that kind of environment.
