From 35mm, VistaVision, 65mm, "film days" to "now" digital capture with Red, Arri, and the fabulous Sony Venice and Venice 2 has been a wonderful learning experience to get the images in the best way to make the script and story the best it can be.Fortunatly I've been immersed in the processes and progressions of all - so its fun to rely on this filmmaking craft history with a bit of intuition to make quick on the fly decisions and actions to get the results the Director and team are reaching to acquire.
Many years of tutelage during my "early visual effects period" years prepared me for the disciplines and knowledge on set to understand the necessities and speed required to keep the project(s) moving as fast as possible.
